AMMA Gym

The State Govt. in G.o.Ms.No.133 Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (PR.III) Department Dated:03.11.2016, have issued the guidelines for the formation of Amma Gym in rural areas since as per Section 111 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayat Act, 1994, one of the discretionary duties of Village Panchayats is to provide necessary facilities for the establishment of play grounds, parks, sports clubs and centre of physical culture for the welfare of the people in rural areas. The unit cost for Gym is Rs.10.00 Lakhs.
