Vallimalai Murugan Temple

It is located at a distance of about 33 km from Vellore in Katpadi taluk. Vallimalai is located at a distance of 25 km from Vellore on the Sholingar – Tiruthani route and 22 km from Ranipet on the Ponnai route. This temple is a Gudavari (Rock cut )cave temple. The temple is under the control of the Hindu Religious Endowments Department. The temple is situated on a small hill with 444 steps. The temple is under the control of the Department of Archeology of India and Department of Hindu Religious Endowments.
